Dr. MacLeod has obtained advanced training in skin cancer and cosmetic medicine. Dr. MacLeod became well known for her prevention and treatment of AIDS, tropical and travel related diseases when she was working internationally. She is one of a select group of physicians who are accredited HIV and Hepatitis B and C prescriber in Cairns. She ran the first Tropical Medicine and Traveler’s clinic in Florida and wrote and narrated The Very Healthy Traveler part I and II on Youtube.
Dr. Caroline MacLeod opened the Ocean Health Clinic in July 2017. This speciality skin clinic is located in Cairns city with a focus on cosmetic, skin cancer and lifestyle medicine. The decision to become a doctor in Cairns city has enabled Dr Caroline Macleod to practice medicine the way she prefers. You and every member of your family’s health is her top priority. It is her goal to ensure she spends more quality time with her patients and help them stay well. For those patients suffering from chronic disease it is her goal to reduce disability and empower quality of life. She is available for home visits and urgent care on Saturday’s and Sunday’s throughout Cairns and in Palm Cove.
